Turin — 3 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Popular historic sites such as Basilica di Superga and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone are in your itinerary. Museo Egizio and Ferraris Agricola are good opportunities to explore the local culture. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Turin: River Rafting & Tubing (in Morgex), Zoom Torino (in Cumiana) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, learn about winemaking at Azienda Agricola But di Meistro Flavio, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale Di Torino.

For reviews, photos, maps, and other tourist information, use the Turin road trip tool.

If you are flying in from France, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In July, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 30°C, while at night they dip to 21°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 12th (Thu) so you can travel back home.
