Turin — 3 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museo Egizio and Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama). For shopping fun, head to Reggia Di Reale or Serravalle Designer Outlet. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (in Stupinigi) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). There's much more to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Parrocchia San Giovanni, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 30th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
