Turin — 3 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Get some historical perspective at Basilica di Superga and Palazzo Reale Di Torino. Appreciate the collections at Museo Egizio and Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama). Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale), Serravalle Designer Outlet (in Serravalle Scrivia) and Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (in Stupinigi). There's lots more to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, steep yourself in history at Sacra di San Michele, and take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone.

For maps, photos, more things to do, and other tourist information, refer to the Turin trip itinerary planner.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In October, daytime highs in Turin are 17°C, while nighttime lows are 12°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 8th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel back home.
