City of Magic
A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Castello e Parco di Masino and Castello di Issogne. Santuario della Nativita di Maria and Castello della Manta will appeal to history buffs. Venture out of the city with trips to Castello di Verres (in Verres), Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre) and Aosta (Criptoportico Forense & Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso). The adventure continues: pause for some serene contemplation at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio, and see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.
