Turin — 3 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Appreciate the collections at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Popular historic sites such as Basilica di Superga and Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi are in your itinerary. Venture out of the city with trips to Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino), Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour) and Forte di Bard (in Bard). Next up on the itinerary: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, admire the striking features of Reggia Di Reale, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and catch a live event at Juventus Stadium.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 58°F in October, and nighttime lows around 51°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
