Turin — 3 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Visit Castello e Parco di Masino and Santuario della Nativita di Maria for their historical value. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Castello di Issogne and Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre), Castello di Rivoli Museum of Contemporary Art (in Rivoli) and Castello della Manta (in Manta). Next up on the itinerary: admire the masterpieces at Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative, step into the grandiose world of Castello di Verres, get engrossed in the history at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove, and explore the ancient world of Criptoportico Forense.

To find more things to do, reviews, and more tourist information, refer to the Turin vacation builder tool.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 64°F, and evening lows to 51°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 4th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
