Turin — 3 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Il Rifugio degli Asinelli (in Sala Biellese) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). And it doesn't end there: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, stroll around Parco del Valentino, and don't miss a visit to Piazza Castello.

For more things to do, photos, where to stay, and other tourist information, go to the Turin holiday builder website.

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September in Turin, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 17°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Mon) early enough to travel back home.
