A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.

Step out of Turin to go to Piossasco and see Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio, which is approximately 44 minutes away. There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, and stroll around Parco del Valentino.
