An industrial town nicknamed "the French Manchester," Mulhouse is famous for its Peugeot factory, esteemed museums, Alsace wine, and cultural riches.
Get a sense of the local culture at Musee National de l’Automobile – Collection Schlumpf and Cité du Train - Musée français du chemin de fer. Vieille ville d'Eguisheim and Chateau de Kaysersberg will appeal to history buffs. Explore Mulhouse's surroundings by going to La Bresse (La Montagnes des Lamas & Le Hohneck), Gerardmer (Lac de Gerardmer & Gerardmer Ski) and Kientzheim (Eglise Notre-Dame des Sept Douleurs, Musee du Vignoble Et des Vins d'Alsace, &more).
