Turin — 2 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Visit Basilica di Superga and Reggia Di Reale for their historical value. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Ferraris Agricola (in Castagnole Monferrato), Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino) and Clementine (in Pinerolo). And it doesn't end there: don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, and do a tasting at Azienda Agricola But di Meistro Flavio.

If you are flying in from Switzerland, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 14th (Mon) to allow time to travel back home.
