Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Visit Reggia Di Reale and Castello di Grinzane Cavour for their historical value. Do your shopping at Galleria Sabauda and Calzature Kur & Kamina. Get out of town with these interesting Turin side-trips: Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco), Castello della Manta (in Manta) and Chiesa della Madonna della Neve (in Monforte d'Alba). There's lots more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, admire nature's wide array of creatures at Zoom Torino, and test your team's savvy at popular escape rooms.

If you are flying in from Switzerland, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 17°C, while at night they dip to 9°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 21st (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
