Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Basilica di Superga and Reggia Di Reale. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Turin: Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco), Zoom Torino (in Cumiana) and Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino). There's lots more to do: steep yourself in history at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium.

For other places to visit, maps, traveler tips, and more tourist information, refer to the Turin online trip maker.

If you are flying in from Canada, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 6th (Mon) to allow time to travel back home.
