A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.Bring the kids along to Zoom Torino and Museo Egizio. There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, take in nature's colorful creations at Parco del Valentino, take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, and don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo.
