Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Kids will enjoy Basilica di Superga and Palazzo Reale Di Torino. Change things up with a short trip to Sacra di San Michele in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino (about 50 minutes away). There's much more to do: make a trip to Piazza Castello, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, stroll around Parco del Valentino, and test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms.

For where to stay, other places to visit, traveler tips, and tourist information, go to the Turin trip tool.

If you are flying in from Switzerland, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, daytime highs in Turin are 11°C, while nighttime lows are 5°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 1st (Sun) so you can travel back home.
