Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso (in Aosta), Rifugio Vittorio Sella (in Cogne) and Festival delle Sagre di Asti (in Asti). There's much more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, make a trip to Centro Storico, and discover the riches below the earth's surface at Ecomuseo delle Miniere e della Val Germanasca.

Plan my Turin trip by asking Inspirock to come up with tips and suggestions.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September in Turin, expect temperatures between 24°C during the day and 17°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 14th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
