Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Visit Basilica di Superga and La Bollente for their historical value. Get some cultural insight at Castello di Grinzane Cavour and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Take a break from Turin with a short trip to Reggia Di Reale in Venaria Reale, about 32 minutes away. And it doesn't end there: take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, take in the spiritual surroundings of Santuario della Consolata, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, and catch a live event at Juventus Stadium.

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March, daytime highs in Turin are 11°C, while nighttime lows are 5°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
