Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Basilica di Superga and Museo Egizio. Your inner history buff will appreciate Palazzo Reale Di Torino and Castello di Grinzane Cavour. Venture out of the city with trips to Forte di Bard (in Bard), Ferraris Agricola (in Castagnole Monferrato) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). The adventure continues: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September in Turin, expect temperatures between 69°F during the day and 58°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 23rd (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
