Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Museum-lovers will get to explore Museo Egizio and Forte di Bard. Get some historical perspective at Basilica di Superga and Palazzo Reale Di Torino. Venture out of the city with trips to Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Parrocchia San Giovanni.

For maps, ratings, more things to do, and more tourist information, you can read our Turin trip itinerary planning tool.

If you are flying in from Russia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March in Turin, expect temperatures between 11°C during the day and 5°C at night. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 11th (Sun) so you can travel back home.
