Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your inner history buff will appreciate Reggia Di Reale and Basilica di Superga. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Venture out of the city with trips to Parco Naturale del Monte San Giorgio (in Piossasco) and Castello di Grinzane Cavour (in Grinzane Cavour). The adventure continues: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, shop like a local with Galleria Sabauda, and wander the streets of Via Roma.

If you are flying in from Malta, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In April, daytime highs in Turin are 17°C, while nighttime lows are 9°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Mon) to allow enough time to travel back home.
