Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Villa della Regina and Piazza Carignano. Appreciate the collections at Fondazione Accorsi Ometto - Museo di Arti Decorative and Musei Reali. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Marchesi di Barolo - Sede legale, magazzini e spedizioni (in Barolo), Castello Reale Di Pollenzo (in Pollenzo) and Dosio Vigneti (in La Morra). Next up on the itinerary: wander the streets of Quadrilatero Romano, take in the spiritual surroundings of Cappella dei Banchieri e dei Mercanti, pause for some serene contemplation at Gran Madre di Dio, and take an in-depth tour of Museo di Antichita.

To find traveler tips, where to stay, ratings, and more tourist information, you can read our Turin road trip website.

If you are flying in from Denmark, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In November, plan for daily highs up to 11°C, and evening lows to 7°C.
