Turin — 2 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore and learn at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Egizio and Reggia Di Reale. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Zoom Torino (in Cumiana) and Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso (in Aosta). Next up on the itinerary: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga and don't miss a visit to Piazza Castello.

If you are flying in from France, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In January, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 6°C, while at night they dip to 1°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 3rd (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
