Turin — 2 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Reggia Di Reale. Museum-lovers will appreciate Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Go for a jaunt from Turin to Aosta to see Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso about 1h 20 min away. The adventure continues: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, take in the spiritual surroundings of Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, make a trip to Palazzo Reale Di Torino, and see the interesting displays at Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama).

To find other places to visit, reviews, maps, and tourist information, go to the Turin online holiday planner.

In July in Turin, expect temperatures between 30°C during the day and 21°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 5th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
