Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Castello di Issogne and Reggia Di Reale. Step off the beaten path and head to Castello di Verres and Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini. When in Turin, make a side trip to see Rifugio Vittorio Sella in Cogne, approximately Cogne away. The adventure continues: admire the masterpieces at Museo Egizio and see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In August, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 76°F, while at night they dip to 64°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 31st (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
