Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Start off your visit on the 27th (Sun): admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale Di Torino and then see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema. Here are some ideas for day two: explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, then examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, then don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga.

If you are flying in from Lithuania, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In January in Turin, expect temperatures between 6°C during the day and 1°C at night. You'll have a few hours on the 29th (Tue) to wrap things up before traveling home.
