City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Shop till you drop at Reggia Di Reale and Mondovicino Outlet Village. You'll explore and learn at Museo Egizio and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Explore Turin's surroundings by going to Clementine (in Pinerolo) and Sacra di San Michele (in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino). There's much more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

If you are flying in from Israel, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In October, plan for daily highs up to 17°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Wed) so you can travel back home.
