Turin — 2 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile and Reggia Di Reale. Basilica di Superga and Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone will appeal to history buffs. Change things up with a short trip to Sacra di San Michele in Sant'Ambrogio di Torino (about 50 minutes away). There's lots more to do: explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, and catch a live event at Juventus Stadium.

To find other places to visit, where to stay, photos, and other tourist information, read Turin sightseeing planner.

If you are flying in from Denmark, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September, plan for daily highs up to 24°C, and evening lows to 17°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 4th (Mon) so you can travel back home.
