Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Take a break from Turin with a short trip to Reggia Di Reale in Venaria Reale, about 32 minutes away. There's still lots to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, admire the striking features of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

To see other places to visit, traveler tips, reviews, and other tourist information, you can read our Turin trip planning website.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 20°C, while at night they dip to 12°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 1st (Sat) early enough to travel back home.
