Turin — 2 nights

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
When in Turin, make a side trip to see Reggia Di Reale in Venaria Reale, approximately Venaria Reale away. There's much more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, explore the world behind art at Museo Egizio, and take in nature's colorful creations at Parco del Valentino.

To see more things to do, other places to visit, where to stay, and other tourist information, use the Turin visit planning site.

If you are flying in from Malta, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. May in Turin sees daily highs of 20°C and lows of 12°C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 12th (Sat) to allow enough time to travel back home.
