Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step out of Turin to go to Venaria Reale and see Reggia Di Reale, which is approximately 32 minutes away. Next up on the itinerary: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, see where the action happens at Juventus Stadium, see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, and don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo.

To find photos, traveler tips, other places to visit, and more tourist information, go to the Turin holiday site.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In May, plan for daily highs up to 64°F, and evening lows to 51°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 23rd (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
