Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini and Via Lattea. Step out of Turin with an excursion to Centro Storico in Alba--about 1h 15 min away. Next up on the itinerary: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In March in Turin, expect temperatures between 50°F during the day and 40°F at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Sun) so you can travel back home.
