Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso and Le Tombe Reali. Change things up with a short trip to Colle del Nivolet in Ceresole Reale (about 1h 25 min away). There's still lots to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice, indulge your taste buds at Food & Drink, and examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile.

To find where to stay, traveler tips, more things to do, and more tourist information, you can read our Turin trip planner.

If you are flying in from Portugal, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June in Turin, expect temperatures between 26°C during the day and 18°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Sun) to allow time to travel back home.
