Turin — 2 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Go for a jaunt from Turin to Venaria Reale to see Reggia Di Reale about 32 minutes away. There's lots more to do: pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga, catch a live event at Juventus Stadium, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema, and stroll around Parco del Valentino.

For traveler tips, maps, more things to do, and other tourist information, go to the Turin trip itinerary tool.

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 26°C, while at night they dip to 18°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 6th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
