Get out of town with these interesting Frankfurt side-trips: Heidelberg (Altstadt (Old Town), Schloss Heidelberg, &more), Alte Lahnbrucke Limburg an der Lahn (in Limburg) and Cologne (Hohenzollern Bridge, Cologne Cathedral, &more). Located at the confluence of the Moselle and the Seille rivers bordering Luxembourg and Germany, Metz has a cultural confluence as well with a merging of its French and German heritage and military traditions.
Venture out of the city with trips to Nancy (Fontaine d'Amphitrite, Place Stanislas, &more) and Reims (Fontaine Sube, Basilique Saint-Remi, &more).
