La Thuile is a town and comune in the Aosta Valley of northwest Italy.GeographyLa Thuile is situated in the Alps at the extreme north-west of the country, close to the French alpine town of La Rosière. Attractions like QC Terme Pre Saint Didier and Saussurea Alpine Botanical Garden make great kid-friendly stops. Get out of town with these interesting La Thuile side-trips: La Salle (Cascade of Lenteney & River Rafting & Tubing), Val Veny (in Courmayeur) and Lago di San Grato (in Valgrisenche). There's still lots to do: admire the sheer force of Cascate del Rutor, identify plant and animal life at Giardino Botanico Alpino Chanousia, take in the awesome beauty at Colle del Piccolo San Bernardo, and contemplate the waterfront views at Lago d'Arpy.
