Turin — 21 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Appreciate the collections at Museo Egizio and Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama). Get some cultural insight at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Castello di Fenis (in Fenis), The Roman Aqueduct-Bridge of Pont d'Ael APERTO SINO AL 1 NOVEMBRE (in Aymavilles) and Lillaz Waterfalls (in Cogne). There's lots more to do: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, admire the verdant scenery at Langhe landscapes, take a tour by water with Boat Tours & Water Sports, and get a taste of the local shopping with Galleria Sabauda.

To see traveler tips, other places to visit, where to stay, and more tourist information, go to the Turin holiday builder site.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June in Turin, expect temperatures between 73°F during the day and 60°F at night. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
