Turin — 21 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Appreciate the collections at Museo Egizio and Civic Museum of Ancient Art (Palazzo Madama). Get some cultural insight at Museo Nazionale del Cinema and Sacro Monte di Orta. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Lillaz Waterfalls (in Cogne), Castello di Fenis (in Fenis) and The Roman Aqueduct-Bridge of Pont d'Ael APERTO SINO AL 1 NOVEMBRE (in Aymavilles). There's much more to do: see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, view the masterpieces at Galleria Sabauda, take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Colle del Nivolet, and admire the verdant scenery at Langhe landscapes.

For reviews, photos, more things to do, and other tourist information, go to the Turin driving holiday planner.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, daytime highs in Turin are 73°F, while nighttime lows are 60°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 26th (Wed) early enough to travel back home.
