Turin — 1 night

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
On the 3rd (Sat), wander the streets of Via Roma, take in the awesome beauty at Colline di Torino, admire the landmark architecture of Villa della Regina, then grab your bike and head to Ciclabile Rio Freidano, and finally pause for some serene contemplation at Basilica di Superga. Keep things going the next day: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Gran Madre di Dio, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, then explore the historical opulence of Castello di Aglie, and finally explore the historical opulence of Castello e Parco di Masino.

To see maps, ratings, photos, and tourist information, refer to the Turin trip builder website.

If you are flying in from Brazil, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In November, plan for daily highs up to 11°C, and evening lows to 7°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Sun) early enough to travel back home.
