Turin — 1 night

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Start off your visit on the 24th (Tue): take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, then admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale Di Torino, then view the masterpieces at Reggia Di Reale, and finally see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. Keep things going the next day: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, and then examine the collection at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In September, daytime highs in Turin are 24°C, while nighttime lows are 17°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 25th (Wed) to allow enough time to travel back home.
