Turin — 1 night

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Kick off your visit on the 16th (Thu): take in nature's colorful creations at Parco del Valentino and then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga. Keep things going the next day: make a trip to Piazza Castello and then make a trip to Piazza San Carlo.

In March, plan for daily highs up to 50°F, and evening lows to 40°F. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Fri) to allow enough time to travel back home.
