Turin — 1 night

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Wed): make a trip to Piazza Castello, then get engrossed in the history at Museo Egizio, then don't miss a visit to Piazza San Carlo, and finally see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile. On your second day here, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, then take in nature's colorful creations at Parco del Valentino, and then see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.

If you are flying in from Germany, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In June, plan for daily highs up to 26°C, and evening lows to 18°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 15th (Thu) early enough to travel back home.
