Turin — 1 night

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
On the 6th (Fri), walk around Parco Regionale La Mandria, then step into the grandiose world of Castello e Parco di Masino, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Superga, and finally don't miss a visit to Piazza Castello. Here are some ideas for day two: take in the architecture and atmosphere at Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, take an in-depth tour of Villa della Regina, take in the awesome beauty at Colline di Torino, then examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, and finally take in the architecture and atmosphere at Basilica di Maria Ausiliatrice.

If you are flying in from United Kingdom, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In July, plan for daily highs up to 30°C, and evening lows to 21°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 7th (Sat) so you can travel back home.
