A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (in Stupinigi) and Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale). Fenestrelle is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Turin in the Italian region Piedmont, located about 50km west of Turin.It is the location of the Fenestrelle Fort, an alpine fortification which guarded the route between the Kingdom of France and the Duchy of Savoy. Start off your visit on the 6th (Mon): deepen your knowledge of military history at Forte di Fenestrelle and then learn about winemaking at Casa Ronsil Wine.
