Eze — 17 nights

Hillside villages along the Mediterranean coast don't come more picturesque than Eze, attracting vacationers with its perfectly preserved medieval streets, colorful botanical gardens, and sweeping sea views.
Eschew the tourist crowds and head to The Church of Èze and Fort de la Revere. Museum-lovers will appreciate Villa & Jardins Ephrussi de Rothschild and Musée des Merveilles. Get out of town with these interesting Eze side-trips: Saorge (Monastere de Saorge & Eglise St-Sauveur), Menton (Buste Louis Lorenti, La Salle des Mariages, &more) and Tende (Vieux Tende & Collegiale Notre-Dame-De-L'Assomption). There's still lots to do: stroll through Eze Sur Mer Strand, contemplate the long history of Fort de la Ligne Maginot, get great views at Ruines du Village du Mont Bastide, and see the interesting displays at Les Musees de La Citadelle.
