Strasbourg — 15 nights

Crossroads of Europe
Strasbourg is famous for its beautiful historical center, the Grande Île, which was the first city center classified entirely as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Strasbourg is one of the nine largest cities in France with nearly half a million inhabitants in the metropolitan area crossing the river to the German city of Kehl, on the eastern bank of the Rhine River. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Palais de Rohan and Museum Œuvre Notre-Dame. Visiting Le Hohneck and NaturoparC - Hunawihr will get you outdoors. Change things up with these side-trips from Strasbourg: Lalique Museum (in Wingen-sur-Moder), Fort De Schoenenbourg (in Hunspach) and Musee des Arts Et Traditions Populaires Musee du Springerle (in La Petite Pierre). There's lots more to do: take an in-depth tour of Musee Memorial Le Linge, learn about all things military at MM Park France, see the interesting displays at Musee Espace des Metiers du Bois et du Patrimoine, and get to know the fascinating history of Centre-ville de Strasbourg.
