Eternal City

Aptly nicknamed the Eternal City, Rome is the birthplace of the Roman Empire, one of the world's greatest civilizations ever.
Family-friendly places like Colosseum and Pantheon will thrill your kids. There's still lots to do: admire the local landmark of Trevi Fountain, appreciate the extensive heritage of Piazza Navona, make a trip to Spanish Steps, and wander the streets of Trastevere.

Manama, Bahrain to Rome is an approximately 10-hour flight. The time zone changes from Arabian Standard Time (AST) to Central European Standard Time (CET), which is usually a -2 hour difference. While traveling from Manama, expect slightly colder days and much colder nights in Rome, ranging from highs of 16°C to lows of 4°C.
