Turin — 14 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Step off the beaten path and head to Ricetto di Candelo and Juventus Museum. Get a sense of the local culture at Museo Egizio and Museum of the Risorgimento. Venture out of the city with trips to Santuario Basilica di Montis Regalis (in Vicoforte), Castello di Serralunga d'Alba (in Serralunga d'Alba) and Aosta (Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso, Collegiata dei Santi Pietro e Orso, &more). There's much more to do: make a trip to Chiesa di Santa Maria del Monte dei Cappuccini, explore the historical opulence of Castel Savoia, take in the spiritual surroundings of Santuario di Notre-Dame de Guerison, and see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale del Cinema.
