Turin — 14 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Skyway Monte Bianco (in Courmayeur), Milan (Museo del Novecento, Duomo di Milano, &more) and Colle del Nivolet (in Ceresole Reale). There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Museo Egizio, don't miss a visit to Piazza Castello, see the interesting displays at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, and admire the landmark architecture of Palazzo Reale Di Torino.

To see traveler tips, more things to do, other places to visit, and other tourist information, go to the Turin day trip website.

If you are flying in from United States, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. Expect a daytime high around 76°F in August, and nighttime lows around 64°F.
