Turin — 11 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Attractions like Porta Praetoria and Lago d'Arpy make great kid-friendly stops. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Parco Nazionale Gran Paradiso and Museo Forte Bramafam. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Turin: River Rafting & Tubing (in La Salle), Castello Reale di Sarre (in Sarre) and Fontanafredda (in Serralunga d'Alba). The adventure continues: hike along Rifugio Vittorio Sella, examine the collection at Museo del Carcere Le Nuove, walk around Parc Animalier d'Introd, and step into the grandiose world of Castello di Issogne.

If you are flying in from Poland, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. August in Turin sees daily highs of 28°C and lows of 20°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Fri) early enough to travel back home.
