Turin — 11 nights

City of Magic

A city of technology and industry, Turin is in northwestern Italy, a one-hour drive from the French border and slightly more than that from the Mediterranean Sea.
Visiting River Rafting & Tubing and Lillaz Waterfalls will get you outdoors. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Museo Egizio and Basilica di Superga. Change things up with these side-trips from Turin: Castello di Fenis (in Fenis), Reggia Di Reale (in Venaria Reale) and Palazzina di Caccia di Stupinigi (in Stupinigi). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Museo Nazionale dell'Automobile, steep yourself in history at Duomo di Torino e Cappella della Sacra Sindone, make a trip to Piazza San Carlo, and do a tasting at Cantina Fontechiara.

To find other places to visit, traveler tips, ratings, and tourist information, read our Turin tour itinerary maker website.

If you are flying in from Australia, the closest major aiports are Malpensa International Airport, Turin Airport and Genoa Cristoforo Colombo Airport. In July, daily temperatures in Turin can reach 30°C, while at night they dip to 21°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 30th (Tue) early enough to travel back home.
