Venice — 3 nights

City of Romance

Virtually unchanged for the last six centuries, Venice is actually a group of islands made famous by a series of canals, bridges, monuments, piazzas, and narrow pedestrian lanes.
Bring the kids along to Canal Grande and Doge's Palace. Change things up with these side-trips from Venice: Padua (MUSME - Museum of the History of Medicine of Padova, Basilica of St. Anthony, &more). And it doesn't end there: admire the landmark architecture of Basilica di San Marco, contemplate the long history of St Mark's Campanile, take in the views from Ponte dei Sospiri, and pause for some photo ops at Punta della Dogana.

To find where to stay, ratings, reviews, and tourist information, go to the Venice trip planner.
